Altoona Curve News Release

The Altoona Curve were triumphant in three of their six games on the road this past week against the Portland Sea Dogs (AA-Boston Red Sox) and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (AA-Toronto Blue Jays) during the Curve's "Road to Savings" promotion.

The road trip began and ended on high notes for the Curve as they took the series opener over Portland Tuesday, 12-6, setting a new franchise record for doubles in a game with 10. The road trip came to a close with pitcher Yoslan Herrera remaining undefeated in 2009 with a 6-3 win over New Hampshire and newly acquired Tim Alderson tossed six no-hit innings in the Curve's 8-4 win over the Fisher Cats in game four of the teams six game New England trip.

With each of the three wins Curve fans will be treated to a $1 discount on all grandstand and terrace level seats for Thursday night's game against the Portland.

With the $3 total discount applied Grandstand seats will now be $3 and Terrace level seats just $5 for the 7:05 p.m. series finale against the Sea Dogs.

Fans can redeem the savings in person at the Blair County Ballpark ticket windows or over the phone at 877-99-CURVE. To redeem the offer through online ticket purchases at the team's website, altoonacurve.com, fans can type in the promotional code "Road to Savings."
