
Curry, Kuemper Switch Places

Orlando Solar Bears News Release
Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears announced today that G John Curry has been returned to the Solar Bears from their American Hockey League (AHL) [image: John Curry]affiliate, the Houston Aeros. The Minnesota Wild (NHL) have reassigned G Darcy Kuemper to the Houston Aeros.
Curry has appeared in 14 games with the Solar Bears this season and currently ranks second in the ECHL in minutes played (829) and saves (379). He played the first five games for Orlando, and also started seven straight games from November 2 through November 17.
Kuemper was assigned to the Solar Bears by the Minnesota Wild (NHL) before yesterday's contest against the Gwinnett Gladiators and carried a shutout past the halfway point of the third period. He stopped 36 of the 37 shots he faced in yesterday's game.
The Orlando Solar Bears continue their road trip with contests against the Ontario (CA) Reign this Wednesday and then travel to Las Vegas for games on Friday and Saturday. The next home games at the Amway Center are a three game series against the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday, December 7th at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, December 8th at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 9th at 3:00 p.m. Good seats are still available.
