Crunch Sign Goaltender Eric Levine to PTO

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch have signed goaltender Eric Levine to a professional tryout contract, Crunch GM Julien BriseBois announced today.

Levine, 25, has appeared in 20 games for the SPHL's Peoria Rivermen this season going 10-7-4 with a .912 save percentage and a 2.55 goals-against average. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound netminder appeared in 72 games with a 30-22-11 record during his four years (2009-2013) at Robert Morris University. Levine recorded five shutouts, a 2.90 goals-against average and .925 save percentage with the Colonials. Levine was signed by the Crunch to an ATO last spring; he was with the club from April 30, 2013 - June 10, 2013 but did not see any game action.

Levine is expected to be available tonight when the Crunch face the Springfield Falcons at 7 p.m. Single and season tickets for 2013-14 can be purchased either in person at the Crunch Box Office located at the War Memorial on 800 South State Street in Syracuse, or by calling the office at (315) 473- 4444.
