Crunch Recall Goaltender Dan Taylor

Syracuse, NY (March 23, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled goaltender Dan Taylor from Gwinnett (ECHL).

Taylor, 23, has appeared in four games with the Crunch this season, going 1-1-0 with a 3.66 goals against average and.870 save percentage. Taylor picked up his first win as a member of the Crunch, stopping 26 of 28 shots in a 3-2 win over Lake Erie on February 26.

In addition, Taylor has skated in 37 games for Gwinnett this year, going 18-13-5 with a 3.47 goals against average and.902 save percentage. A native of Plymouth, England, Taylor was signed by the Crunch to an AHL contract on October 1, 2009.

The Crunch travel to Worcester on Tuesday, March 23 and Bridgeport on Wednesday, March 24 before returning home on Friday, March 26 to face Toronto at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at 315-473-4444, stopping by the Oncenter Box Office, located on the State Street side of the War Memorial or by calling Ticketmaster at 315-472-0700.
