Albany Signs Mike McKenzie To ATO

ALBANY, NY-The Albany River Rats announced today that forward Mike McKenzie has been signed to an Amateur Tryout Contracts (ATO).

McKenzie, 23, joins the River Rats after completing his senior season at St. Lawrence University. The assistant captain ranked second on the team in scoring this season with 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) in 41 games. McKenzie (6'0", 185 lbs.) led the team in scoring last season as a junior with 34 points, including a team-high 16 goals. The Whitby, Ontario native has also played for the St Michael's Buzzers, the Bowmanville Eagles and the Oshawa Legionaires of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League.
