Syracuse, NY (March 27, 2002) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the seventh annual Crunch At Your Service Dinner, held at the Sheraton University on March 26, raised $23,200 for the Central New York Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Crunch players traded in their sticks for aprons as they worked for tips by performing crazy antics. A Crunch At Your Service record was set for largest single tip when $1,200 was raised for goaltender Greg Gardner to have his 'Elvis-like' sideburns shaved by right wing David Ling. Other antics included head coach Gary Agnew and assistant coach Ross Yates singing the theme song to Sponge Bob Square Pants, left wing Mathieu Darche and right wing Kent McDonell doing a duet of Brittany Spears' "Oops I Did It Again" and Crunch Chief Operating Officer Bob Ohrablo doing a Meatloaf imitation.

Greg Gardner was the top waiter for the evening, raising a record $1,622. Finishing behind Gardner was Duvie Westcott ($790), Blake Bellefeuille ($788), Chris Nielsen ($600), Kent McDonell ($517) and Mathieu Darche ($509).
