Manchester, NH- Calix Crabbe's three-run home run highlighted a five-run second inning as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats defeated the Trenton Thunder, 5-4, on Monday night at Merchantsauto.com Stadium to claim a share of first place in the Eastern League's Eastern Division with their third straight victory.

The Fisher Cats (7-4) got to starter and losing pitcher Ryan Pope for five runs on five hits in the second inning. Adam Calderone (1-for-3, 2B, RBI, R) and Brian Jeroloman (1-for-2, 2B, RBI, BB) lashed run-scoring doubles before Crabbe (1-for-4, HR, 3 RBI) took Pope's first pitch over the wall in right for his first home run of the season, staking New Hampshire to a 5-0 lead.

Kyle Drabek (2-1) labored through five innings, allowing three runs on five hits and five walks, but the right-hander fanned three in posting his second win of the season.

Following two hitless innings of relief from Trystan Magnuson, Danny Farquhar capped a scoreless ninth by inducing a game-ending double-play grounder from Damon Sublett to notch his fourth save in four chances.

Trenton (7-4) got on the board in the top of the fourth on an RBI single by Reid Gorecki (1-for-3, BB, RBI) that scored Austin Romine, who singled.

Sublett (1-for-4, 2B, BB, 2 RBI) delivered a two-out, two-run double off Drabek in the fifth inning, slicing the Fisher Cats' lead to 5-3.

The Thunder climbed to within 5-4 when Romine (3-for-5, RBI, 2 R) connected for a two-out single off Bubbie Buzachero, plating Austin Krum (1-for-5, R, 2 SB), who had singled and stolen second.

He'll be opposed by Thunder left-hander Jeremy Bleich (1-0, 1.46). Radio coverage begins at 6:15pm on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network with Bob Lipman and Mike Murphy.
