Coyotes Acquire Peter Holland from Toronto in Exchange for 2018

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have acquired center Peter Holland from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for a 2018 conditional draft choice.

"Peter is a big, solid centerman with good NHL experience," said Chayka. "We look forward to having him join our team."

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Holland has collected an assist in eight games with Toronto this season and has registered 30-40-70 in 203 career NHL games with the Maple Leafs and Anaheim Ducks. The Toronto, Ontario native totaled a career-high 9-18-27 in 65 games with the Maple Leafs in 2015-16 and scored a career-best 11 goals with Toronto in 2014-15.

The 25-year-old Holland was drafted by the Ducks in the first round (15th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
