On the season the K-Wings are 3-3-0 against the Jackals, which includes a split in their two game set last weekend. Lifetime the K-Wings have fared well against Elmira, as Kalamazoo leads the all-time series with a record of 5-4-0. All-Time/ Season Series All-Time Series: K-Wings Lead All-Time Series: 5-4-0 Season Series: K-Wings Trial Season Series: 2-3-0 Last Meeting: K-Wings won 5-4 versus Elmira on March 15, 2003 @ Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo, MI Next Meeting: Last Game of the Regular Season.

Knowing the Opponents It will be hard for either Paul Pickard or Todd Brost to put any surprises in their strategies tonight. First, both the K-Wings and the Jackals have played each other 5 times this season, including twice last week. Also, Brost may have learned some his coaching tricks from Pickard. Todd was the Team Captain of the Huntington Blizzard, when he played for Paul during the 1994-95 season.

Stopping the P-Play on the Road While the K-Wings are fifth in the UHL on the Penalty Kill with a percentage of 82.5, they are even better on the road. Kalamazoo is third in the UHL on killing penalties on the road with a percentage of 84%.

Luck of the Irish K-Wings forward Pat O'Leary has been playing well all season, but his play has even better as of late. In his last two games O'Leary has scored 3 goals and an assist.

Playoff Hunt The K-Wings enter tonight 6 points behind both Flint and Rockford for the final playoff spot in the UHL playoffs. Heading into their game the K-Wings have 5 games remaining in the regular season.
