
Express to Hold U.S. Army Night

ROANOKE, VA â The Roanoke Express will be featuring U.S. Army Night at the Roanoke Civic Center on Saturday, March 29, when the Express hosts the Reading Royals at 7:35 p.m. The first 1,000 fans entering the arena will receive a mini U.S. flag in commemoration of the night. In addition, the Express players will be wearing special camouflage U.S. Army jerseys, which will be available to fans through an auction following the game.
Members from the Army, Army Reserve and the National Guard from Virginia and West Virginia will be on hand for the game. Prior to the game there will be a repelling demonstration held by members of the Army, and a special jersey presentation. Discounted ticket prices are in effect for all Army, National Guard, Reserve, and other military personnel with a military ID.
