Powering Up

The K-Wings went 4-for-5 on the power-play Wednesday night against the Elmira Jackals. The four man-advantage goals are a season-high for Kalamazoo and their most in a single-game since January 5, 2013 versus the Evansville IceMen.

Get Shorty

Kalamazoo recorded their 13th shothanded goal of the season last Wednesday against Elmira. The 13 shorthanded goals not only ties the K-Wings with the Idaho Steelheads for the most this season in the league, the total also marks the most Kalamazoo has ever earned in a single ECHL season.

Closing in on History

Defenseman Elgin Reid is closing in on K-Wings history. Reid needs one assist to break the K-Wings' ECHL record for assists by a defensemen, which was set by Sam Ftorek (32) last season.

Atlantic Stars

Kalamazoo has played well against the Atlantic Division. The K-Wings are 10-4-0-1 versus teams from the Atlantic Division, which includes a record of 4-2-0-0 versus the Royals.
