Cougars Pitcher Dealt to Washington Nationals

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Chicago Cubs, have announced that pitcher Ian Dickson has been traded to the Washington Nationals organization in exchange for pitcher Henry Rodriguez. Rodriguez pitched for the Cougars in 2007 before reaching the major leagues in 2009. As a result of losing Dickson, the Cougars' roster has decreased from 25 to 24 players on the active roster as the Cougars continue a six-game homestand this evening against Burlington. First pitch is set for 6:30 p.m.
Dickson (35th round, 2011) pitched in 11 games with Kane County this season.
