Appleton, WI - The Kane County Cougars' opening contest of a four-game series against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers on Tuesday night was postponed by rain. The game will be made up Wednesday as part of a doubleheader, consisting of two seven-inning games.
The first game will begin at 11:35 a.m. CDT, Wednesday's originally scheduled time, and the second affair will follow about half an hour after the conclusion of the opener. The Cougars (35-22), who lead the Western Division by four games over the Peoria Chiefs, will send Jason Ray (5-1, 3.25) to the mound in the first game, and Jeff Gray (2-4, 5.77) will toe the rubber in the second showdown.
