
MWL Announces All-Stars
June 6, 2006 - Midwest League (MWL1) News Release
Beloit, WI (6/6/06) --- George H. Spelius, President of The Midwest League of Professional Baseball Clubs, Inc., is pleased to announce the 2006 All-Star Game Rosters. The All-Stars were nominated and selected by the Field Managers of the Midwest League. The Swing of the Quad Cities are hosting the 2006 MWL Summer All-Star Classic on June 20th at John O'Donnell Stadium, Davenport, Iowa.
The Field Staffs for the All-Star Classic will be from those teams that are in first place in their division at the end of the first half (June 18, 2006).
Recognition is due the following former Midwest League players that were promoted or DL'd after being selected to the 2006 All-Star Game Rosters:
