Controversial Walk-Off Homer Lifts Travs to 8-6 Win in 10 Innings

North Little Rock, AR - With the game tied, one on and one down in the bottom of the 10th, Arkansas 1B Robbie Tenerowicz sent a fly ball by the left field foul pole that was called fair by the umpires, sending the Arkansas Travelers (4-2, 49-26) to the 8-6 walk-off win against the Springfield Cardinals (2-4, 36-39) at Dickey-Stephens Park on Monday night. The Cardinals contested the call to no avail.

L - RHP Chris Roycroft (2-3)

Notables:

Springfield pounded four home runs in the game - a two-run blast from CF Victor Scott II (his first in Double-A) in the 3rd, a two-run shot from SS Arquimedes Gamboa in the 5th, a go-ahead solo bomb from C Wade Stauss (his first in Double-A) also in the 5th and a solo home run from 1B Chandler Redmond in the 6th, his Double-A best 22nd homer.
