Matchup:

The Condors homestand continues with their second game of the week against Victoria tonight. Bakersfield, who is 3-0-1 in their last four games, picked up a 3-1 win on Wednesday afternoon against their Mountain Division rivals. These two teams will meet five more times this season after tonight, in a seven-game season series that includes four games here in Bakersfield. Victoria and the Condors have met in the Kelly Cup playoffs twice in the last three seasons, with the Salmon Kings winning a six-game series (4 games to 2) in 2008-09 and Bakersfield claiming a five-game series (3 games to 2) last season to advance to the National Conference Semifinals. Both playoff meetings were in the opening round.

Condors misc:

D Jason Lepine is tied for the ECHL defensemen lead with 12 points, while he also leads the league in assists by a defenseman with 10... G Peter Hirsch is 2-0-0 with a 1.00 goals against average, and has stopped 59 of the last 61 shots he has faced, in the last two games. He is the only active goaltender on the Condors roster, with G Josh Tordjman sitting out the third game of a six-game league suspension tonight... The Condors signed F Slava Trukhno on Friday and he notched three assists in his first game with the team last night. The last game he played was last April with Springfield (AHL). Condors RW Stephane Goulet played with Trukhno in Springfield in parts of 2007-08 and 2008-09 while he bounced back and forth from the AHL and the Stockton Thunder... The line of Trukhno - C Rylan Kaip - Goulet combined for four goals and eight points in last night's win... RW Carter Smith is tied for 4th among ECHL rookies with five goals.

Transactions:

The Condors signed F Vyacheslav Trukhno Friday... D Joey Ryan was called up to Oklahoma City (AHL) today... D Evan Stoflet was activated from the 3-day IR on Wednesday... RW Pascal Morency was placed on 21-day IR on Saturday. He joins F Bobby Robins and LW J.D. Corbin on the 21-day IR.
