The Elmira Jackals will try to generate a three-game winning streak as they head on the road to battle the Trenton Devils at the Sun National Bank Center at 7:00 p.m.
TRIUMPHANT THIRD PERIODS
In each of Elmira's two wins last weekend, the Jackals made a statement in the third period, outscoring their opponents 5-0 and outshooting their opponents a combined 32-13. This season, Elmira has a +9 goal differential in the third period, compared to first and second period advantages of +3.
OVERPOWERING OFFENSE
With five goals in each game last weekend, the Jackals increased their league-leading goals per game average to 4.23. Elmira is the only team in the ECHL scoring over four goals per contest. The Jackals have scored at least four goals in a game on nine different occasions this season.
