BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, official ECHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks, have announced that D Sean Hurley, C Charlie Kronschnabel (KRAHNSH-nah-buhl) and F Chad Painchaud (PAIN-shoh) have been assigned to Bakersfield by the Iowa Chops (AHL). All three players have been in training camp in Iowa.

Hurley, 25, made his professional debut last season by suiting up for seven AHL contests after completing his college career at Brown University (NCAA). He notched one assist and logged 4 PIM between the Norfolk Admirals and Worcester Sharks last year.

Prior to turning pro, the 6-foot-3-inch, 211-pound native of Rutland, Vermont skated four seasons at Brown University from 2004-08. He totaled 79 points (22g-57a) in 126 collegiate games, and earned an ECAC All-Academic Selection in 2005-06 and ECAC All-Rookie Team and Honorable Mention All-Ivy selections in 2004-05.

Painchaud, 22, was acquired by the Anaheim Ducks along with D Ken Klee and F Brad Larsen from the Atlanta Thrashers in exchange for D Matthieu Schneider on Sept. 26, 2008. Last season, he split time between the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL) and the Chicago Wolves (AHL), notching 13 points (8g-5a), including three game-winning goals, in 10 ECHL games. He also recorded 3 points (1g-2a) in 22 AHL contests. Painchaud skated for Gwinnett in 2006-07 as well, posting 54 points (22g-32a) in 72 games as a rookie, tying for the team lead with five game-winning goals.

The 6-foot-1-inch, 190-pound Mississauga, Ontario native spent three seasons in juniors in the Ontario Hockey League before turning pro, tallying 148 points (69g-79a) in 174 games with Mississauga and Sarnia.
