Salmon Kings Single Game Tickets On Sale Thursday

Victoria, B.C.- The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that single game tickets for the 2008-09 season will go on sale Thursday October 9th.

Catch exciting ECHL action 36 times live in Victoria as the Salmon Kings play host to conference rivals the Alaska Aces, Idaho Steelheads, Utah Grizzlies, Fresno Falcons, Phoenix RoadRunners, Bakersfield Condors and Stockton Thunder this season. Also the Salmon Kings will welcome the newest member of the ECHL family when the Ontario Reign roll into the Capital City for games in January and March. Single game tickets will be available at the Select Your Tickets box office in the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, by calling 250-220-7889, or by visiting www.salmonkings.com for more information.

"Single game tickets allow fans the opportunity to pick and choose the Salmon Kings games that fit their schedule," Ticket Sales Manager Devin Mazur said. "It's the opportunity for both casual and committed fans to get in on the action."

Group tickets will also go on sale on October 9th. Buy 20 or more tickets to a Salmon Kings game and be rewarded with savings up to 40%!

The Salmon Kings will open their 2008-09 regular season at home on Friday, Oct. 24, against the Stockton Thunder at 7:05 p.m. Many great promotions and activities will accompany opening weekend.
