Condors Helping Hand:

At the Condors Open House and Family Day on Sunday, fans were encouraged to bring canned food items. The Canned Food Collection resulted in the donation of more than 1,800 pounds of non-perishable food items to the Kern County Food Bank. The Condors 7-year total now tops 17,500 pounds of food items.

Last Wednesday, Condors F Andrew Ianiero and D Tyler Scott took part in the Children's Miracle Network Mediathon. The two appeared on KGET TV-17 and 99.3 The Groove to urge viewers and listeners to donate funds to help save children's lives in addition to answering phones for pledges.

Thanks in part to the Condors front office staff and F Andrew Ianiero, the Habitat for Humanity Home built this year at the Kern County Fair was completed in a record 7½ days. Ianiero and the Condors front office staff spent a combined 40 man-hours working on the house (making what could be the finest roof ever placed on a habitat home!)
