This is the fifth year of the Toy Drive, which has brought in nearly 1,000 toys in its history. All collected toys are donated to needy families in Kern County during the Holiday season.
During the first intermission on Wednesday the Condors mascots will attempt a death-defying feat to win one lucky fan Condors merchandise by being shot across the ice towards gigantic bowling pins in the mascot slingshot. During the second intermission, fans will have a chance to win $100 in Chuck-A-Puck, and one lucky fan will have his sports knowledge tested in a contest to win jewelry for his significant other
Following Wednesday's game, Condors forwards Liam Huculak and Ryan Salvis will be at the Holiday Inn Select Autograph Booth. The autograph booth is located on the concourse behind section 108. On Friday, the Condors will travel up the 99 to take on the Fresno Falcons in Fresno. The game, which begins at 7:35 p.m., can be heard on ESPN Radio 1230, it is also streaming live on www.bakersfieldcondors.com
Saturday vs Fresno
On Saturday, Oct. 25, the Condors return to Rabobank Arena to host the Fresno Falcons for Goalie Mask Giveaway Night, courtesy of 106.1 KRAB Radio and Bakersfield Ice Sports Center. The first 2,000 children, 12-and-under, to pass through the turnstiles will receive a Condors replica goalie mask, just in time for Halloween! Be the envy of all your friends by sporting this Jason-style goalie mask around the neighborhood for trick-or-treating.
During the second intermission, one lucky fan will have a shot at winning a one-of-a-kind 2008 Chevy Silverado with customized Condors logos and colors on the exterior and stitched logos and colors on the interior. The contestant will shoot a puck from one face-off circle marked by a Carl's Jr star diagonally to the other face-off circle on the other end of the ice. If the puck lands on the star, the contestant will win the truck. If the puck lands in the face off circle, the contestant will win $100.
If no one wins the truck during the on-ice contest, there's still a chance you might take it home. If a Condors player scores a hat trick during the third period, one lucky fan, randomly drawn, will drive home in the brand-new, customized Condors Silverado.
Following Saturday Night's game, keeping with the goalie mask theme, goalies Dave McKee and Joey Perricone will be at the Holiday Inn Select Autograph Booth.
