Bakersfield Condors News Release

Bakersfield, Calif – The Bakersfield Condors will host the Trenton Titans on Sunday evening at Centennial Garden at 5:00pm. The match will wrap up a three-game weekend that has the team travel to Long Beach tonight and Fresno on Saturday before coming home.

Sunday's match begins at 5:00pm, with doors opening at 4:00. Everyone in attendance will receive a Condors Boogie Poster, courtesy of the Groove 99.3. These unforgettable prints show a funky side to several members of the squad, including Jason Ralph, Johan Astrom, Shane Bendera, Todd Alexander and Denis Ladouceur (who was recently traded to the Alaska Aces).

Also on Sunday, the Fire & Ice Dance Team comes out to the Garden for their first appearance in town. The Fire & Ice Dance Team is a national touring group of 20 dancers and models that will perform a routine on the ice during the first intermission and sign autographs during the second. In addition, the American Cheer gymnastics team will perform during the first intermission as well.

Sunday's match is a Condors Classroom Champions Night, for those participating in the program. Sponsored by 29 Eyewitness News and McDonald's, the Classroom Champions program rewards students for outstanding attendance. Each student received a voucher good for a complimentary terrace admission. Superfan Cameron Hughes makes his return to Bakersfield for the game, following up his first appearance over a month ago that brought rave reviews from the fans.

The Condors and Titans will meet up three times in the next two weeks. The next two meetings will take place on the Condors East Coast road trip from February 17-24. Both tonight and Saturday night's road matches will take place at 7:30pm.

All games, home and away, can be heard on KGEO AM 1230, and online at www.bakersfieldcondors.com, with "Condors Countdown" starting 15 minutes prior to face off. The "Voice of the Condors" Kevin Bartl handles the play-by-play alongside Condors Legend Kevin Barrett for the color commentary, who joins home broadcasts.
