Cameron returns to Bombers

The Dayton Bombers have announced that forward Scott Cameron has returned to the team after appearing in nine games with the Syracuse Crunch, the Bombers' AHL affiliate.

Cameron, 21, recorded three goals and one assist in his stint with the Crunch. In two games with Albany of the American Hockey League this season, Cameron did not record a point.

Cameron has also seen time this season with Cincinnati (ECHL) (17 GP, 5 G, 5 A, 9 PIMs) and the Bombers (ECHL) (3 GP, 1 SHG, 1 A). A native of Valley East, Ontario, Cameron was selected by New Jersey in the sixth round, 185th overall, in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He was acquired by the Bombers from the Cyclones on January 7 in exchange for defenseman Nick Nutcher and forward Richard Naumann.

Tonight, the Bombers return home to host Wheeling on Friday for their 2nd Annual Mardi Gras Night at the Nutter Center (7:00 p.m.). The first 1000 fans will receive a set of beads.
