Colliton Called Up to Islanders

Bridgeport Sound Tigers forward Jeremy Colliton was called up by the parent club New York Islanders today. Colliton has scored in four straight games with the Sound Tigers, including the game-winner in overtime at Lowell on Saturday. He has five goals and five assists for 10 points in 22 games with the Sound Tigers this year. Last season, Colliton had a goal and an assist in 19 games with the Islanders while registering 21 goals and 32 assists for 53 points in 66 games with the Sound Tigers.

Colliton, 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, was born in Blackie, Alberta. The 21-year-old was selected by the Islanders in the second round, 58th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
