South Bend, IN - In conjunction with the Arizona Diamondbacks, the South Bend Silver Hawks have announced that RHP T.J. Hose has been promoted to high-A Visalia and OF Alfredo Marte has been activated from the disabled list.

Hose has been dominant in the closer role for South Bend, converting 11 of 12 opportunities. The right hander has pitched in 27 games for the Silver Hawks, compiling a 3-2 record and a team best 1.70 ERA. In 37.0 innings, Hose has allowed 24 hits, while striking out 43 and walking only 12.
