The Freedom suffered their second straight walk-off loss as they fell 3-2 to Lake Erie on Wednesday night in Avon, Ohio. Kellen Kulbacki hit a walk-off single in the ninth inning for the Crushers.

Lake Erie's Jereme Milons walked to start the bottom of the first inning and stole second. He moved to third on a sacrifice and scored on an RBI single by Andrew Davis to put the Crushers in front 1-0.

The Freedom broke through against Paul Fagan in the sixth. With one out, Junior Arrojo walked and Chris Curley hit a ground rule double to put runners on second and third. Willie Holmes hit an RBI groundout to tie the game at 1. Stephen Shults followed with a two-out RBI single to center to put the Freedom on top 2-1.

Andy Clark had another outstanding start in a no-decision for the Freedom. He held the Crushers to a run on four hits in six innings. In his last nine starts, Clark is 5-2 with a 1.80 ERA, allowing just 12 earned runs in 60 innings of work.

Chad Robinson relieved Clark to start the seventh inning. He gave up a one-out single to Kyle Shaffer and walked Robby Kuzdale. Milons hit an RBI single to center to tie the game at two.

In the ninth, Shaffer led off with a double to center off of reliever Corey Martin. With two out, Norris hit an infield single off the glove of Martin. The Freedom intentionally walked Davis to get to Kulbacki, who hit a walk-off single to center.

Florence has lost a season-high ten consecutive road games and is 0-5 against the Crushers this season. The series finale will be Thursday night at 7:05. Alec Lewis (2-4, 3.31) will be on the bump for the Freedom.
