Crestwood, Ill. - Josh Lowey gave up just one run and Logan Parker drove in three as River City evened the series with a 5-1 win over Windy City.

The Rascals (54-19) improved to 31-1 when scoring first, taking a 3-0 lead in the third inning when Stephen Holdren drove in a run with a bases loaded single that was followed by a two-run single from Logan Parker who finished the night 3-for-5. Josh Lowey pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing just one run on four hits with six strikeouts en-route to his eighth win.

Windy City (37-37) tried to mount a comeback in the seventh and again in the eighth but Kirkland Rivers ended the threat in the seventh with a strikeout and Derrick Miramontes struck out the final two in the eighth, stranding runners at second and third. River City added an insurance run in the ninth on Paker's third hit before Miramontes finished the game for his 13th save.

The Rascals look to take their first series win at Windy City since 2006 on Thursday when Don Lisi (5-1, 4.11) squares off against lefty Matt Jernstad (5-7, 3.69).
