Cincinnati Cyclones Acquire Forward Aaron Foster

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL, have acquired the contract of forward Aaron Foster from the Stockton Thunder.

Foster, 23, is a fourth-year pro, having played last season with Stockton. A rugged forward, Aaron played in 62 games and netted 20 goals to go with 19 assists for 39 points. He also accumulated 121 penalty minutes. Eight of his 20 goals and 18 of his 39 points came on the power play. He recorded nine multiple point games and had a pair of two goal games. No stranger to the American Conference, Foster played with Dayton in 2004-05 and with Atlantic City in 2003-04.

Foster has played in 167 professional games and has registered 94 points (47-47-94). His 309 professional penalty minutes are the third-most among current Cyclones players.

"Aaron is a great team guy," Cincinnati Cyclones Head Coach Chuck Weber said. "He will stick up for anyone on the team and is solid in front of the net. Aaron is a presence on the ice and in the locker room."

He is the 18th player on the roster for the Cyclones this season. All 72 regular season Cincinnati Cyclones games can be heard on the club's website www.cycloneshockey.com. The Cincinnati Cyclones are an affiliate of the National Hockey League's (NHL) Montreal Canadiens.

The Cyclones begin the 2006-07 season on Friday night, October 20 against Pensacola at U.S. Bank Arena.
