
Bobmers to participate in local charity event this weekend

Dayton Bombers News Release
Dayton, OH- The Dayton Bombers announced today that they will be taking part in the 2nd Annual Dayton Cornhole Classic to be held on the arena floor of the EJ Nutter Center on Saturday, September 23, 2006. All proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.
The Bombers will be represented in the tournament by Director of Public Relations and Broadcasting Andy Sanzotta and Director or Group Sales Matt Hogan. Also appearing at the tournament will be Bombers defenseman Greg Labenski. Greg will be signing autographs from 9:30-10:30 a.m. near the registration area of the tournament located on the Nutter Center arena floor.
Prizes such as hats and ticket vouchers will be donated by the Bombers for the 50/50 raffle. Tickets for the raffle can be purchased at the event for $1 each or $5 for six tickets.
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and the tournament will begin at 10:00 a.m. and run throughout the afternoon. Admission for all spectators is free. Teams of two that are interested in registering for
the tournament can log onto www.daytoncornholeclassic.com or sign up the morning of the event. There is a registration fee of $50 per team to enter the event.
The 1st Annual Dayton Cornhole Classic helped raised $4,000 for Habitat for Humanity. Event organizers have already reached last years total and hope to raise more funds for the charity this year.
The Bombers will also be teaming up with Habitat for Humanity on a housing project in late October. More information will be released on the announcement of this event within the upcoming weeks.
