Reading Royals News Release

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that the organization will host the annual "Royals At Your Service" Charity Dinner to benefit the Make-A-Wish FoundationÒ of Greater Pennsylvania at the Works at Wyomissing (1109 Bern Road, Wyomissing; 610-375-2700) on Tuesday, October 17, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. That night, the Royals' players and coaching staff will don "waiters' aprons" in lieu of their hockey gear to serve fans a gourmet buffet-style dinner, consisting of shrimp alfredo, chicken cordon bleu, hibachi steak, fresh string beans with water chestnuts, and roasted red potatoes. The players and coaching staff will want to have their "A-game" smiles on that night in order to maximize their "tips", all of which will be collected to help benefit the Make-A-Wish kids, of course. This season, the AYS Charity Dinner is going to be held in conjunction with the kick-off of the team's brand new weekly coach's show, Royals' Radio Recon, which will air from 6 - 7 pm from the show's new location: the second floor lounge area at the Works (directly above the Game Room), where the AYS dinner will also be served. Please note that this is a non-smoking event. Costs for this mouth-watering dinner, which includes soft drinks, are $25 for season ticket holders and $30 for non-season ticket holders and $15 for kids twelve and under. Space is somewhat limited, and reservations are required. Please call Brenna Temple in the Royals' office (610-898-7311) for more information and to make your reservations.

Full season tickets and total choice flex plans for the 2006-07 season of Royals' hockey are currently on sale. Individual game tickets for the Royals' regular season are currently on sale for Royals' season ticket holders and will go on sale to the general public on Monday, September 25. For more information, contact the Royals' office at 610-898-7825 or visit the Royals website, www.royalshockey.com.
