Nailers Invite Four to Tryout

Wheeling, WV- The Wheeling Nailers, the 'AA' affiliate of the Pittsburgh Penguins, announce today that they have signed four players to tryout deals. As per club policy, terms were not disclosed.

Tyler Schremp is the younger brother of the Edmonton Oilers' 2004 first round pick, Robby Schremp. The Fulton, NY native had his best season in 2003/2004 with the Syracuse Stars of the Ontario Provincial Junior Hockey League when he registered 43 points (22g, 21a) in just 28 games.

Steve Preite, a Pittsburgh native, appeared in two games last season with the Charlotte Checkers. He also appeared in one game for the Nailers in 2004/2005. Along with his ECHL experience, the 5-foot-9, 190-pound forward played professionally in the Southern Professional Hockey League for the Jacksonville Barracudas. He played his junior hockey in the OPJHL.

Dillon Henningson has played the last three seasons with the La Ronge Ice Wolves of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. He scored 34 goals and tallied 33 assists for a total of 67 points in 55 games last season. In three seasons, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Edmonton native amassed 151 points in just 164 games.

Teague Willits-Kelley is a 5-foot-11, 210-pound native of State College, PA who played 36 games for Penn State University along with Bill Downey and Curtiss Patrick of the Nailers. Willits-Kelley will be trying out for the Nailers with fellow Penn State Alumnus, Justin Depretis.
