
Chiefs Win Second Straight Game

Johnstown, PA- Jean Desrochers registered the Johnstown Chiefs first hat trick of the season Sunday afternoon as the Chiefs defeated the visiting Wheeling Nailers 6-4 at the War Memorial.
Chris Leinweber, Brent Kelly and Brett Peterson also scored for the Chiefs. Evgeny Lazarev had a pair of goals for the Nailers while Ray DiLauro and Cam Paddock also scored.
Chiefs goaltender David Cann picked up the win making 29 saves. Joe Exter had 25 saves for the Nailers.
The Chiefs improve to 22-34-14 on the season. The Nailers are now 36-28-5.
The Chiefs are back in action Friday night, when the Trenton Titans come to town for a 7:00 p.m. game. The next designated sellout night, sponsored by "Your Neighborhood Ford Store," is Saturday, April 9th when the Chiefs host the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies in the last game of the season. It will also be Fan Appreciation day as hundreds of prizes will given away at random to fans throughout the game.
