"The Chiefs are proud to honor cancer survivors and those who have passed away from cancer with a special day and these special jerseys," said Chiefs general manager Jason Smorol. "We are dedicating to remembering the men, women and children who have battled this disease in any way we can, as we fight for better care and a cure."
Fans can submit the name of a cancer survivor or a loved one that has passed away from cancer to become a part of the design of the special cancer awareness jerseys.
