
Chiefs Receive Garlock From Syracuse

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today that Ryan Garlock was loaned to the team by Syracuse.
Garlock, 22, is in his third professional season and second with the Chiefs. He skated in 13 games for Johnstown over two different stints from Oct. 17 to Nov. 21 and Dec. 10-19. In his time with the Chiefs, Garlock has compiled eight goals, seven assists, and 22 penalty minutes. The Iroquois Falls, Ontario native has appeared in 33 games with Syracuse this season and registered five points (4G, 1A).
A second round draft pick, 45th overall, of Chicago in 2004, Garlock placed third on the Chiefs in scoring last season with 61 points (26G, 35A) in 51 games. He represented the Chiefs at the All-Star Game in Stockton, California and had one assist in the game. In his three pro campaigns, Garlock has skated in 118 AHL games between San Antonio, Syracuse, Binghamton, Springfield, and Hershey.
Garlock is expected to be in the lineup tonight when the Chiefs take on the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 at the UPMC Health Plan Ice Rink at the Cambria County War Memorial.
