SPOKANE, Wash - The Spokane Chiefs will help the Washington Army National Guard "Guard Against Hunger" this month by accepting non-perishable food donations at their office or at the Saturday, January 30 game versus the Tri-City Americans. Fans who donate will receive the group rate - up to $5 off the walk-up ticket price - for the game. All items will be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank.

The Chiefs and Americans will face each other for the eighth time this season with Spokane holding a 5-2-0-0 mark against their rivals. Spokane will wear specially designed military-themed jerseys which will be auctioned off during the game to benefit charity.
