After both teams went hitless for the first two innings, the Chiefs struck with two outs in the third. Cliff Andersen hit a solo home run off River Bandits starter Josh Wilson to put the Chiefs in front 1-0. The homer was Andersen's third of the season and second at O'Brien Field.
