Chiefs Fall in Shootout to Atlantic City

Johnstown, PA- The Johnstown Chiefs two game winning streak was snapped Friday night as they fell to the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies 3-2 in a shootout at the War Memorial.

The Chiefs had a two goal lead in the third period before surrendering two goals to the Boardwalk Bullies 1:21 apart in the 3rd period. Jim Henkel scored 0:41 into the final frame and Stefan Rivard scored at the 2:02 mark. The Chiefs got second period goals by P.L. Courchesne (power play) and Larry Courville.

Chiefs goaltender David Currie made 32 saves in his first shootout loss of the season. Scott Stirling made 28 saves for Atlantic City. The Chiefs are now 23-15-5, while Atlantic City improves to 30-10-2
