The inaugural "Blue Line to Finish Line" charity event at Victory Lane Indoor Karting will take place on Sunday, Jan. 24 from 5-8 p.m., with proceeds benefiting Checkmate Charities and other local non-profit organizations.
Checkmate charities, established in 2003, supports community efforts including youth education, athletics and health-related causes. Donations are raised throughout the season through various events such as jersey auctions, raffle ticket sales and the Checkers' annual golf tournament.
