Frederic Cassivi stopped all 29 shots he faced to earn his first shutout of the season as the BEARS blanked the Phantoms 3-0 Saturday night.
Owen Fussey picked up his second goal of the season at 13:06 of the first period to stake the BEARS to a 1-0 lead. Jakub Klepis then picked up his sixth goal of the season just 50 seconds into the second period before Tomas Fleischmann scored his 15th of the year at the 3:24 mark of the middle period. Cassivi would take it the rest of the way, denying the Phantoms on seven power plays in the game. Cassivi's win was his 22nd of the season, which leads all AHL goalies.
The BEARS face the Norfolk Admirals Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m., with tickets available at the GIANT Center box office or by calling (717) 508-BEAR.
