HERSHEY, PA - Frederic Cassivi stopped all 29 Philadelphia shots he faced to lead the Hershey Bears to a 3-0 win over the Phantoms at GIANT Center on Saturday night.

The Bears jumped out to the 3-0 lead by the early part of the second period and let Cassivi handle the rest. The scoring started at 13:06 of the first period, when Owen Hussey brought the puck down the right side and backhanded it it front to Joey Tenute, who one-timed it home for a 1-0 lead.

Just 50 seconds into the second period, Hershey made it a 2-0 game when Mark Wotton sent a puck through the neutral zone and sprung Jakub Klepis on a breakaway. The third goal came less than three minutes later on the power play, when Tenute took a shot from the left wall that Tomas Fleischmann deflected into the net at 3:24.

Rejean Beauchemin made his first start for the Phantoms since January 14, absorbing the loss with 25 saves on 28 Hershey shots.

Philadelphia returns to action on Wednesday, February 8 when they host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the Wachovia Spectrum at 7:05 PM.
