WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Chris Carter opened the scoring with a two-run home run as Sacramento topped Albuquerque 7-0 before a sellout crowd Friday night at Raley Field. The sellout (14,014 fans) is Raley Field's second of the homestand, fourth of the season and 66th all time. River Cats starter Carlos Hernandez threw 7.0 scoreless innings, allowing four hits and striking out five. Anthony Recker hit his 16th homer of the season for Sacramento in the eighth inning. With Las Vegas' loss at Memphis, Sacramento's magic number is seven to clinch the Pacific Coast League South Division.
