
Caron Is Back from Boston

Boston, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today that the club has assigned forward Jordan Caron to the Providence Bruins.
Caron, of Sayabec, PQ, has skated in 13 contests for Boston this season, registering one goal and two assists. In his career, the forward has played in 36 NHL games, recording 4-610 totals and 10 penalty minutes. He has appeared skated in nine games for Providence this year with 1-56 totals.
The 20-year-old was originally drafted by the Bruins in the first round (25th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Caron made his professional debut on October 10, 2010 with Boston at Phoenix and scored his first professional point (goal) on October 16 at New Jersey (NHL). In 47 games with Providence last season, Caron recorded 12-1628 totals and 16 penalty minutes. His 12 goals and 28 points ranked second among rookies on the Providence squad.
The P-Bruins open their 2012 docket at The Dunk this Friday in a 7:05 p.m. tilt with the Portland Pirates for "Kids T-Shirt Night." T-shirts are free to the first 1,000 kids 12 and under. The club meets Route 146 rival, the Worcester Sharks Saturday at the DCU Center before returning to Providence on Sunday to face off with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers for "Kids Thundersticks Night."
