J.F. Jacques Returned to Crunch

Syracuse, NY (January 3, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have returned left wing J.F. Jacques to the Crunch.

Jacques, 26, has played in five games with Anaheim this season going scoreless with seven penalty minutes. Prior to his most recent recall on December 26, 2011, Jacques had recorded 19 points (11g, 8a) in 20 games played with the Crunch. The Ducks acquired Jacques via free agency on July 6, 2011, he was originally drafted in the second round, 68th overall, of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Edmonton Oilers.

Jacques is expected to meet the team in Toronto for tonight's 7 p.m. contest against the Marlies. The Crunch are currently on a seven game road trip and will not return home to the War Memorial until January 20, 2012 when they host the Norfolk Admirals at the War Memorial Arena.
