Caron, Copley Join Chicago Wolves

The Chicago Wolves announced Friday they received right wing Jordan Caron and goaltender Pheonix Copley on loan. They join the roster as the Wolves make final preparations for their 22nd season at Allstate Arena.

Caron comes to Chicago after splitting the last five seasons between the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League. The 24-year-old Sayabec, Quebec, native has posted 12 goals and 16 assists in 135 NHL games and 36 goals and 42 assists in 134 AHL appearances. He began his professional career in 2010-11 with the Boston Bruins, who went on to capture the Stanley Cup.

Copley, a 23-year-old native of North Pole, Alaska, spent last season with the AHL's Hershey Bears. He produced a 17-4-3 record during the regular season with a 2.17 goals-against average and .925 save percentage. In Calder Cup Playoffs duty, Copley delivered a 3-1 record with a 1.83 GAA and .946 save percentage.

The Wolves open the AHL's 80th season on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. against the Milwaukee Admirals.
