Flames Trim Camp Roster by Five

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned five players to their American Hockey League affiliate, the Stockton Heat: Garnet Hathaway (C), Kenney Morrison (D), Jakub Nakladal (D), Patrick Sieloff (D) and Tyler Wotherspoon (D). In addition to the assigned players, Drew Shore (C) has been placed on waivers.
Calgary has 29 players remaining at training camp (3x goalies, 9x defensemen, 17x forwards). With the reassignments, Stockton now has 35 players at training camp (3x goalies, 12x defenseman, 20x forwards).
The Heat play their final preseason game tonight against the Bakersfield Condors at Stockton Arena. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. with puck drop scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
