SPRINGFIELD, MO - Steven Hill led the charge with a pair of home runs (19) and four runs batted in as the Springfield Cardinals blasted the Arkansas Travelers 14-5 on Tuesday night at Hammons Field. Each of Hill's home runs came during big Cardinal rallies as he capped off an eight-run fourth inning with a three-run shot then hit a solo bomb during a four-run sixth inning. Pete Kozma also added four RBIs for the Cardinals, who won their third in a row. Second baseman Alexi Amarista extended a hitting streak to 12 games with a home run (1).

Hill came back up and ripped his three-run homer over the bullpen in left field to give th e Cards an 8-2 lead.
