Campbell Recalled to Bridgeport

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Head Coach/Director of Hockey Operations Cail MacLean announced today that forward Trent Campbell has been called up to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League.

Campbell, 27, skated in eight games with the Stingrays this season scoring one goal and four assists for five points and eight penalty minutes. The Beauval, SK native led the Stingrays in scoring last season with 20 goals and 48 assists for a career-best 68 points in 60 games. Since joining the Stingrays as a rookie in 2007, the 5-foot-10, 175-pound forward registered 155 points (53g, 102a) in 154 games.

The Stingrays kick off a three-game road trip Friday, November 12 as they battle the Elmira Jackals at 7:35 p.m. at First Arena. The Greenville Road Warriors visit the Stingrays for the first time in team history on Tuesday, November 16 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.
