RBI singles from Wilson Ramos and Danny Berg gave Beloit a 3-0 lead heading into the bottom of the eighth inning.
Enter Rob Delaney. Delaney pitched two full innings of scoreless relief to pick up his 24th save of the season and shut the door on the Kernels.
The win improved Beloit's second half record to 3-4.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers play the final game of a four game series with the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Thursday night at 7:00 pm. Beloit's Matthew Fox goes against Cedar Rapids' David Herndon.
