Bullies Set For A Rockin' New Year's Eve
December 30, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies News Release
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, will host the intra-state rival Trenton Titans at 2:05PM in a special New Year's Eve matinee tomorrow at Historic Boardwalk Hall presented by 95.1 WAYV, 100.7 WZXL, and 99.3 The Buzz, and Canal's Discount Liquor Mart.
Tomorrow's game comes on the heels of Wednesday's 3-1 victory over the Dayton Bombers witnessed by a home attendance of 2,761, the third largest crowd of the season and the largest crowd for a midweek game in Boardwalk Bullies history.
"We are extremely pleased with last night's attendance," said Bullies Vice President and General Manager Dan Belisle. "I believe that this could be a sign of great things to come for the second half of the year."
The first 2,000 people through the gates tomorrow will receive a special "Bullies Coozie Container" courtesy of Canal's Discount Liquor Mart. Following the game, join the Bullies and ring in 2005 with a special balloon drop on the main concourse. Each balloon could be filled with gift certificates to your favorite restaurants, hotels, golf courses, and other area attractions in South Jersey, along with tickets to future Boardwalk Bullies games and Boardwalk Bullies merchandise.
Local band Hampton Wick will be performing in a special pre and post-game concert from the Musician's Balcony. There will also be the chance to skate with your favorite Bullies following the game during an open public skating session.
Tickets for the New Year's Eve game are on sale now. For more information or to order tickets, call your Bullies Customer Service Representative at (609) 348-7825.
