Bullies Extinguish Inferno in Second Straight Shutout

Columbia, S.C. - The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies defeated the Columbia Inferno, 3-0, to take a two-games-to-none lead in the 2003 Kelly Cup Finals.

For the second consecutive time, the Bullies shut out the Southern Conference Inferno squad and return to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City for Games Three, Four, and if necessary, Game Five.

J.F. Caudron tallied the game's first two goals to increase his league-leading playoff goals total to 11 and his points total to 18.

Captain Stefan Rivard added an unassisted empty-net goal in the third period to cushion the victory.

Scott Stirling stopped 19 Columbia shots and recorded the win in goal for the Bullies.

Game Three of the series is tomorrow, Saturday, May 10, at 7:35 p.m. at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. All Bullies playoff games may be heard live on 1450 WKXW-AM.
